PURMUN is the first Puerto Rican Model United Nations Conference, which seeks to bring together local and international competitors for a weekend-long immersive conference.

We are looking for college students who are interested in volunteering to be staffers or committee chairs. The PURMUN board is excited to hear about your skills, past experiences, and why you want to join our team.

We are committed to providing students with an immersive experience that exposes them to the values and work of the United Nations while empowering students as they develop their public speaking, research, and diplomacy skills, and we can't do that without our volunteers. Important information before you apply:

PURMUN Dates: March 20- March 21, 2026

All staff members are expected to be there for the entirety of the conference.
PURMUN is a new conference; as such, there will be creative liberty for staffers, which will set the precedent for future conferences.
Students currently enrolled in high school are not eligible to be staffers or chairs.
Previous Model UN experience is desired but not required.
